Post Comic-Con Update

Thanks to everyone who helped make the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con a great success! As usual, the convention was a lot of hard work, but fun and whirlwind as well.

As mention in my report from the show (see link below), although I saw the same sales trends that many other exhibitors reported (Saturday sales took a dive as attendees decided to focus on going to presentations that took them away from the main exhibit hall), when all was said and done, the show overall turned out to be one of my best in years. However, due to the broadened popularity of Comic-Con, it's not always a given that people stopping at your booth are interested in comics. But it was nice having longtime supporters of the book stop by, and to still make new fans.

As mentioned earlier, issue 12 of ROB HANES ADVENTURES debuted at the show. In order to give the book time to make its way to retail stores, it will be available online from the WCG Comics website later this month. For those of you who opt to order the book online, I will send an announcement as soon as it's available at the WCG Comics store later this month.
